Wellbeing Week 2024

11 October 2024

Our annual Wellbeing Week took place this week, from the 7th – 11th of October. Looking after the well-being of our students is central to what we do every day in the school. The aim of Wellbeing Week was to highlight the importance of well-being—both mental and physical—and to remind everyone to take care of themselves in all aspects of life.

Throughout the week, a variety of organised activities were available to all students. Our Junior Cycle students learned not only about what well-being is but also how to build positive habits to maintain their mental and emotional health. These sessions encouraged students to be mindful of their own self-care, from stress management to building resilience.

Students also had the opportunity to engage in activities such as well-being walks around Naas, yoga, mindfulness colouring, and more. These activities aimed to provide them with strategies to manage stress, boost their mood, and recharge mentally.

In addition, students were encouraged to reflect on the importance of balancing schoolwork, relationships, and personal time in order to maintain a positive state of well-being.

Many thanks to our SPHE departments for organising a successful week!
