Stand Up Awareness Week
We would like to say a huge thank you to the school community who have really shown their support for Stand Up Awareness Week 2024. Throughout the week, students across all year groups learned about the importance of standing up against bullying, discrimination, and exclusion. Our Sixth and Transition Year students had the opportunity to listen to our Guest Speaker Cian Griffin who spoke to the students about his experiences throughout secondary school and his platform today,
Year on year, we see tremendous growth in the level of awareness and support for this initiative, and we are extremely grateful to all who contribute to making our school a more inclusive and caring environment. Inclusion, care, and the support of all our students is central to our ethos here in Naas CBS, and we could see this demonstrated in abundance this week.
We are also excited to announce the launch of our Ally Club, which took place this Tuesday lunchtime. The club will meet every Tuesday, providing a welcoming space for students to come together, relax, and connect with peers in an inclusive and safe environment. We hope this initiative will continue to grow and evolve, creating a supportive and safe space for all.
It was also fantastic to see so many students actively participating in today’s RAG Day. We look forward to seeing this initiative, and others like it continue to grow. Thank you again for your incredible and continued support.
