Past Pupil Representing Ireland at World Skills Competition.
This week one of our past pupils Seán McLoughlin will represent Ireland in The World Skills Event in Lyon.
Seventeen participants will compete as Team Ireland at the 2024 World Skills event in Lyon, France . The World Skills competition will see over 1,500 competitors from more than 71 countries and regions around the world demonstrate their skills across 62 skills areas. Team Ireland will compete in the following areas: Beauty Therapy, Cabinetmaking, Constructional Metal Work, Cookery, Cyber Security, Digital Construction BIM, Electrical Installations, Industrial Mechanics, Joinery, Logistics and Freight Forwarding, Mechanical Engineering CAD, Painting and Decorating, Restaurant Service, Visual Merchandising, Welding and Automobile Technology. Seán, who is from Caragh will represent Ireland in the field of electrical installations.
