Junior Rugby Win
The Junior Rugby team had a fantastic win on Thursday defeating St. Andrew’s College in the first round of the Father Godfrey Cup.
Naas pulled ahead in the first half and led 14-12 at half time. St. Andrew’s came back strongly in the second half and it took a penalty in the dying seconds of the game to secure a 22-19 win for Naas.
Try scorers were Matthew Costello (x2) and Cillian McHugh.
The team looked particularly smart in their new gear which had been presented to them during the week with special guest, Jamie Osborne in attendance.
