Junior Cycle Music Classes Visit the National Concert Hall
This week our Junior Cycle Music Classes had the opportunity to travel to the National Concert Hall in Dublin for a wonderful morning of music. The National Concert Hall is the home of classical music and performance in Ireland. The students attended ‘Music in the Classroom’ in concert, performed by the prestigious National Symphony Orchestra. The interactive concert covered many of the learning outcomes in Junior Cycle Music. It was a great opportunity to see and hear instruments live and learn about the orchestra. Students were brought through the musical timeline and heard compositions by composers such as Beethoven, Stravinsky and John Williams.
