Senior Art Trip
Our 5th & 6th year Art Students travelled to Dublin last Thursday for their Art Trip. In the morning the students enjoyed an excellent Street Art Tour of some of Dublin’s most famous inner city murals. Our guide Joe was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
In the afternoon they were treated to a tour of the National Gallery of Ireland with a focus on Realist, Impressionist and Post Impressionist art works from the gallery’s permanent collection.

The students thoroughly enjoyed these two very different visual experiences and gained a wealth of knowledge that will help them in the Visual Studies area of their Leaving Certificate Art Course.
