Mid-Term Ski Trip
Last week, a second group of Naas CBS students graced the slopes of the Dolomite Alps! 130 2nd and 5th Years travelled to Italy to spend their mid-term skiing with friends.
Well done to the boys for their enthusiasm and good spirits in learning and developing this skill. They worked hard adjusting to the skis in the first few days and by the end of the week, they had the ability to explore higher and more beautiful parts of the mountain. Their good behaviour and positive attitude made the trip an enjoyable and pleasant experience for all.
Thank you to the seventeen teachers who accompanied the boys on the trip and looked after them on the slopes and in the evenings. A huge thanks to Mr. Manning for all his work over the past weeks and months; navigating the ever-changing Covid protocols and organising two very successful ski trips. The feedback from students and parents has been hugely positive; the opportunity afforded to the boys to travel on a ski trip is clearly much appreciated.
Between the two trips, 200 of our students learned to ski and enjoyed a week in Italy with their friends. It is a privilege to be able to offer students such a memorable experience and hopefully the boys also appreciate the effort made by their parents in securing a place for them on the ski trip.
Thank you to the teachers who helped to capture footage of activity from the slopes so that a bank of special memories could be compiled for the boys. Please follow the links to access the videos and click on ‘View Gallery’ to see all photos.
