Best of luck to the nine transition year students and Ms Lonergan who are traveling to Germany tomorrow, Thursday 7th December to take part in an exchange with a school in the Southwest of Germany for the next couple of weeks.
The boys will stay with host families, go to school with their exchange partners and take part in two outings together. One to climb the highest church tower of the world and the other to Bregenz in Austria, where they will go up a mountain in a cable car.
They will also visit Christmas markets and get to know German culture in general. The boys get a chance to immerse in German life and improve their language skills.
It is expected, that the nine German exchange partners will come to stay with their Irish counterparts in May 2018.
